Jana Hrckova was born in Moscow, Russia in 1965. After Secondary grammar school, Jana studied Journalism at Charles University in Prague. She has been working as a librarian at the Institute of Czech Language. Jana’s current work is as a librarian at the Law Faculty of Charles University in Prague. She also works as a translator for various publishing companies.

Daniela Kartakova was born in Turnov, Czechoslovakia in 1965. Daniela is a sculptor and medal designer. She studied at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Prague, followed by studies in monumental sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. As her mother Vera Melicharova- Kartakova is also an artist – sculptor, Daniela has been in close contact with art since her early childhood which influenced her to follow a similar career.
Daniela devotes herself to small-size sculpture, medal design, and restoration of sculptural works. Her most famous medal designs include Salvador Dalí, St. Wenceslas, and Pope Benedict XVI. Her exceptional sculptural works include a bust of Johannes Brahms, which she transferred to Carrara marble. The artist lives partly in Prague and in Carrara, an Italian town famous for its white marble quarries. Daniela has had exhibitions in the Czech Republic, Italy, and other countries.

Kristina Stolbova was born in Prague, the Czech Republic in 1993. Kristina has been working on the documentary film “THE PORTRAITS” screenplay since 2012. She, as well, does filming and consulting. Since childhood, she has been involved in theater and film productions such as “Feigele” – a Jewish Theater in Prague, “Giraffe” – a Czech TV program, and the feature film “Anne Frank: The Whole Story” (2001). Kristina studied acting at The Playhouse West Acting Conservatory in New York with Jim Parrack and attended Acting Studio in Hollywood with acting coach John Kirby. She is currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts at UCLA.

Martina Stolbova was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia 1965. Between 1971-1976 Martina lived in England, where she attended classical ballet and modern dance at the Stella Man School of Dancing in Hampstead, London, UK. Back in Prague she continued with classical ballet at the National House in Prague and started to attend Drama School in addition to studies at the Classical Gymnasium. After two years of studies at Charles University, Martina studied the Italian language and culture for two semesters at the Universita per Stranieri di Siena and the Italian language school Italiaidea in Rome. Her film career started at the Barrandov Film Studios where she worked for various companies such as Seven Hills Production, AFM Lighting, and Gala Films in the fields of production, lighting, and distribution. Between 1997 – 2002 she worked for WIP production as an executive producer of the documentary film “Nicholas Winton – The Power of Good,” winner of the 2002 Intl EMMY Award for the best foreign documentary film. Since 2012 Martina has been working on a documentary film “The Portraits”.
